Vacuum-insulated stainless steel containers for liquid nitrogen, type Apollo
Containers for storing liquefied gases are an important component in scientific, medical and technical cryogenic work. Our liquid gas containers are suitable for the transportation and storage of cryogenic liquefied nitrogen or helium, for example, as well as for material testing with this medium.
Properties of the Apollo stainless steel tank:
The liquid gas tank impresses with its high mechanical strength, as the tank is made of stainless steel. The multi-layer super insulation in the vacuum chamber ensures a low evaporation rate. The robust design, manufacture and choice of materials guarantee long durability, stability and reliability. The insulating vacuum offers a long service life thanks to the use of adsorption and getter materials.
Standard equipment of the Apollo liquid gas tank:
- Integrated safety device on the container neck Vacuum seal with safety valve
- Smooth-running castors
- Small flange connection NW 50 KF
- Siphon with a filling hose with metal mesh
- Push and protective frame
- Level indicator (digital or analog)
- Pressure build-up through liquid withdrawal without external energy supply
The Apollo cryogenic container is available with a geometric volume of around 50 to around 350 liters. In the table below you will find all the information on weight, size, operating pressure and evaporation rate.
